After passing the Alamgeer Darwaza you face the Bhangi Darwaza. With a wish to respect all sections, this gate has different stories attached to it. Some people believe that a man from a certain sect was sacrificed while the gate was being built and that gave this gate its name. The people that disregard this story believe that Hindu kings never gave human sacrifices. They believe when the gate was being built during the Paramara rule, the foundation stone was laid by a man from the Bhangi sect and this is how the gate got its name. Made with Pillar Lintel style, the ceiling of this gate has fallen. The way to Delhi Gate is through Bhangi Gate and it has stairs. Each step of the staircase was 6-7 feet wide and 18 feet long but all of them are dilapidated now. (Source :- MTPC, Dhar)

आलमगीर दरवाज़े से अंदर प्रवेश करने के बाद अगला सामना भंगी दरवाज़े से होता है। हर तबके को इज्ज़त देने की ख्वाहिश लिए खड़ा भंगी दरवाज़े के नामकरण की अलग-अलग कहानी। प्रचलित है। कुछ लोगों का मानना है कि दरवाज़े का निर्माण करते समय, भंगी समाज के एक व्यक्ति की बलि चढ़ाई गयी थी, इसलिए इस दरवाज़े का नाम भनी दरवाज़ा हुआ। वहीं इस बात से इत्तेफाक न रखने वालों का मानना है कि हिन्दू राजा किसी मानव की बलि नहीं देते थे परमार काल में इस  दरवाज़े का निर्माण करते समय इसकी नींव का पत्थर भंगी समाज के व्यक्ति से रखवाया गया था, इसलिए इसका नाम भंगी दरवाज़ा हआ। यह दरवाज़ा माण्डल का सबसे पुराना दरवाज़ा कहलाता है। पिलर लिंटल शैली में बनाये गये इस दरवाज़े की छत गिर चुकी है। इस दरवाज़े से ही दिल्ली दरवाज़े तक जाने का मार् सीढ़ियों के रूप में बना हुआ था। प्रत्येक सीढ़ी 6 से 7 फीट चौड़ी तथा 18 फीट लम्बी थी, जो अब पूरी तरह से टूट गई है। (Source :- MTPC, Dhar)
