  In English, it is most widely known as a "Sugar apple" as well as a "Custard apple" and its scientific name is Annona Squamo. Mandu's market is very popular for Sitafal. This fruit is available at reasonable rates in this market. Sitafal tree is a small tree which grows to height of about 10 to 25 feet. It bears round but somewhat heart shaped green to a faint yellowish green fruits on a thickened stalk. The pulp of the fruit is sweet tasting and aromatic with a white to pale cream pulp inside.
