There are some mausoleums and inns in the hathi mahal located near Sagar Talab and village.  Because of the structure of the round pillars seated in the lateral part of the palace, similar to elephant's feet .So Why its Called Hathi Paga Mahal .

 This palace appears to have been constructed as Aaram Gah, but was later given the shape of a mausoleum.

सागर तालाब और गांव के पास स्थित हाथी महल में कुछ मकबरे व सराय हैं। महल के पार्श्व भाग में सीपित गोल स्ताम्भों की बनावट हाथी के पैरों के समान होने के कारण यह हाथी पगा महल कहलाता हैं।

ऐसा प्रतीत होता हैं कि इस महल का निर्माण आराम गाह के रूप में हुआ था, परंतु बाद में इसे मकबरे का रूप दें दिया गया।
