Fountains In Mandu

Water has been used judiciously and creatively in the palaces here. The water drains down through stone drainage system and is transported back to the fountain using Rehat technology. This water would be collected in pools and drained back to the fountains thereby making it a cyclic process. The ever flowing fountains added to the beauty of the city of Mandav.

फव्वारे

महल के सौंदर्यीकरण के लिए भी पानी का उपयोग किया जाता था। महल के बगीच में फव्वारों का निर्माण किया गया था। वर्तमान में फव्वारों का संचालन आधुनिक मशीनों के बिना शायद सोचना मुश्किल सा हो जाए, लेकिन उस दौर में पत्थरों की नालियाँ बनाकर इन फवारों को संचालित किया गया था। रहट तकनीक के जरिये पानी पहले जपरी कुंडो में पहुँचाया जाता था, फिर वह पानी तेज़ गति में नालियों से गुज़रता हुआ नीचे बनें फव्वारों तक पहुँचता था। चारों तरफ फैली हरियाली के बीच फव्वारों से निकलती पानी की बौछारें माण्डव की खूबसूरती को नायाब बनाती थी।
