Lohani Darwaza In Mandu

On the western corner of Mandav, ahead of the Rampol Darwaza, you see Lohani Darwaza. A trail from Hoshang Shah's tomb leads here. Built on a slope, the outer arch of this gate is weathered but its foundation pillar still stands. There were rooms built for security guards on the right side of the gate. Inspiration from Hindu-Muslim architectural style can be seen here.

लोहानी दरवाज़ा

'माण्डव के पश्चिमी कोने में रामपोल दरवाज़े से आगे जाने पर, अगला सामना लोहानी दरवाज़े से होता है। होशंगशाह के मकबरे के पास से एक पगडडी गुज़रती है, जो इस दरवाज़े तक जाती है। ढलानयुक्त पहाड़ी पर
बनायी गई इस दरवाज़े की बाहरी मेहराब तो अब गिर चुकी है, लेकिन इस मेहराब को आधार देने वाले खंभे आज भी मौजूद हैं। इस दरवाज़े को देखकर लगता है कि रामपोल दरवाज़े की तरह यह दरवाज़ा भी मुस्लिम
शासकों द्वारा पुनर्निर्मित किया गया होगा।
