The biggest pond in Mandav is Sagar Talab with a depth of 28 ft. Special consideration was given to loss of water through evaporation during the construction of this pond. As the catchment area of this pond is big. Sagri Talab was made to collect extra water.
सागर तालाब
28 फीट की गहराई के साथ सागर तालाब माण्डव का सबसे बड़ा तालाब था। इस तालाब के निर्माण में गहराई निर्धारण करते समय वाष्पीकरण से होने वाली कुदरती हानि पर खास ध्यान दिया गया। इस तालाब का कैचमेंट बड़ा है, इसलिये अतिरिक्त पानी को जमा करने लिये सागरी तालाब बनाया गया है।
